"The CADR room-size math in the air purifier guide saved me from buying a machine twice the size I needed. Everything else I read just repeated the marketing claims."
"I emailed asking about knife sharpening for left-handed use and got a genuinely detailed answer from Sarah herself within a day. This site is the real thing."
"Bought the mid-range blender pick instead of the $500 one your guide talked me out of. Two years of daily smoothies later, still perfect. Thanks for the honest advice."

No. Editors score and rank every product before commercial links are added, and nobody on the editorial team knows the commission terms of a link. Our full process is documented in How We Test.
Yes — every product in our guides is physically used by our testers for a minimum of two weeks, then compared side-by-side against its competitors under identical conditions. Where specs matter (noise, energy use, air quality), we measure with calibrated instruments.
Every guide carries a "last updated" date and is revisited at least twice a year — sooner when a major competitor launches or long-term reliability issues surface. If a pick fails, we demote or remove it and say why.
Please do — reader requests directly shape our testing queue. Send the product name, brand, and what you want to know via our contact page.
